Guided Meditations & Teachings
with John McCane, Hindu Brahman Priest

John McCane is a 2011 Anthropology graduate of University of Cincinnati and also a graduate of Christ University of Bangalore, India. He is also founder of Satyakama, a Spiritual Center of Peace and Hindu teachings here in Adams County, Ohio. John completed his Brahman priesthood during his time in India. The rigors of education were very intense, requiring the elimination of many human pleasures during this time to complete the transformation.

John spends his time traveling between his home here in Peebles and his other home in India, where he continues his teachings. John will be hosting guided meditations and teachings here at Serpent Mound. These are free to the public and we welcome one and all.

Please bring a mat or blanket to rest upon while you journey to another world, another culture and an exciting yet peaceful experience here at Serpent Mound in the early hours of morning.

Dates: 5/26/2012 & 6/23/2012, 9-11am. Free with $7/car parking fee.

Other Events: Friends of Serpent Mound also sponsors many events at the park throughout the year, including the popular winter luminary lighting.
