The Arc of Appalachia has protected over 13,000 acres of Appalachian wildlands over the course of 30 years. The Arc’s 2025 collection of land campaigns - totalling 4300 acres - is our most ambitious yet.
Join our wildlands community!

“We are now the involuntary stewards of something much, much greater than ourselves.
The future of wildlands, for better or for worse, is now entirely in our hands.” — Nancy Stranahan, Director, Arc of Appalachia
