Donors giving at least $50 annually will receive:

• The Arc’s highly acclaimed annual winter magazine in the mail (donations under $50 will receive the magazine digitally)

• Invitation to the annual Donor Gathering Celebration each Fall

• Confirmation of your fully tax-deductible donation

Donors giving at least $1,000 annually will become a member of our Aldo Leopold Preservation Society

Aldo Leopold Preservation Donors are major contributors to the fuel that runs the Arc’s wildlands preservation work. They enjoy the same privileges as other donors, but on special occasions are invited to special Aldo-related tours and events.

Our official legal name is the Arc of Appalachia!

If you knew us earlier as The Highlands Nature Sanctuary (it is still the name of our headquarters). As of February 20, 2025, what was once our dba, Arc of Appalachia, is now our official name. Records of earlier donations will show up under our previous name.
