The Arc considers natural communities to be "Earth’s greatest creative achievements - nothing less than living art," underscoring art's fundamental role in understanding our stewardship. This artistic approach helps convey the beauty, wonder, and sacredness of the Emerald Forest properties, with their healthy forest communities, expansive forested wetlands, pristine streams supporting diverse salamanders and aquatic insects, beaver ponds, and stunning rock formations. It also highlights the diverse fern species and the vital habitat for many migrating warbler species within the deep gorges and lush forests of this region, moving people beyond mere facts to a deeper emotional investment and resonating with the campaign's aim to be deeply satisfying and permanent.
