Welcome, Emerald Forest Arc Ally! How to Join the Arc’s Speaker’s Bureau.

Speakers bureau volunteers are critically important to the Hocking Hills Clear Creek Connection land campaign. This endeavor aims to establish a contiguous, 9-mile-long preservation corridor called Emerald Forest, linking Clear Creek Metro with Hocking Hills State Park and Forest via Cantwell Cliffs. Volunteers like you are crucial for expanding the organization's reach, increasing public awareness, and boosting donations by delivering compelling presentations and fostering public engagement. Your efforts are essential to secure the funds needed to protect this biologically significant wilderness, which includes healthy forest communities, expansive forested wetlands, pristine streams supporting diverse salamanders and aquatic insects, beaver ponds, and stunning rock formations. This area also boasts 17 observed fern species and provides vital habitat for many migrating warbler species, such as ovenbirds, Louisiana waterthrushes, Kentucky warblers, and wood thrushes, thereby enhancing secure breeding success for deep-forest birds.
