Speakers bureau volunteers are critically important to the Tobacco Barn Hollow Expansion land campaign, which aims to double the preserve's acreage from its current 458 acres to 927 acres. This endeavor represents the Arc of Appalachia's second-largest Ohio forest preservation effort in its 30-year history. Volunteers like you are crucial for expanding the organization's reach, increasing public awareness, and boosting donations by delivering compelling presentations and fostering public engagement. Your efforts are essential to secure the funds needed to protect this biologically significant wilderness, providing a vital refuge for Ohio's endangered timber rattlesnakes and supporting a high diversity of amphibians, reptiles, and deep forest birds.
