7:00 pm Welcome/Orientation & Indoor Presentation Registrants will meet at the Appalachian Forest Museum

Friday July 10
Breakfast on your own
8:00 am Indoor Presentation: Roosevelts & The CCC’s + Lucy Braun Legacy
9:30 am Fort Hill Day Hike / Field Trip Registrants will be provided with packed lunch options before the start of the hike
2:00 pm Rest/Break & Dinner on your own Highlands Nature Sanctuary Lodges are equipped with a kitchen and cooking supplies. Registrants will be provided with local recommendations for dinner in the area.
5:00 pm Evening Indoor Presentation: Extirpated Old Growth Flora & Fauna
Registrants will meet at the Appalachian Forest Museum
Saturday July 11
8:00 am Depart from Highlands Nature Sanctuary to Tremper Mound
9:30 am Traditional Appalachian Breakfast at Tremper Manor House
10:30 am Simon Woods Day Hike / Field Trip Registrants will be provided with packed lunch options before the start of the hike
3:00 pm Rest/Break & Dinner on your own Registrants will be provided with local recommendations for dinner in the Portsmouth area
7:00 pm Evening Program at Simon Pond: Life and Legacy of John Simon
Registrants will meet at the Simon Farm
9:00 pm Optional Night Program: Fireflies & Whip Poor Wills
Sunday July 12
Breakfast on your own
9:00 am Morning Program in W-Hollow, Kentucky Registrants will meet at the Jesse Stuart Home in Greenup, Kentucky
10:30 am Jesse Stuart Nature Preserve Day Hike / Field Trip Registrants will be provided with packed lunch options before the start of the hike
3:00 pm Depart for home.
